Project Title
Sales Forecasting and Stock Prediction
Description
The project is based on multivariate analysis; different factors affecting the sales of retail sectors are analyzed which are then incorporated in the most promising machine learning model to predict future sales, and subsequently, estimate the stock required to meet the expected sales. Our project aims to tackle a real world use case. BB textiles is a textiles-based company based in Karachi which has its client base in the retail and wholesale sector. This project was offered to us by them in which they required us to build an application that could essentially predict future sales and stock requirements. This will help the company make more informed decisions regarding investment, and the expansion of their retail branches.
